HaulMark Road Transport Training Services started providing classroom-based training to the road transport industry in 2007 although it’s founder Mark Gundry-White had been working in the industry since gaining an HGV licence in 1976.
After 10 years of general haulage work in the UK and Europe Mark moved into driver training and became qualified as a HGV driving instructor through the Road Transport Industry Training Board.
Adding a passenger vehicle licence in 1994, Mark helped LGV & PCV candidates to acquire their vocational driving licences, eventually using his experience to train drivers to become instructors on the Driving Standards Agency register of LGV instructors.
As the holder of a Certificate of Professional Competence in International Road Haulage Transport Management and the National qualification for Passenger Transport Mark began teaching these subjects in 1996.
In 2008 with the advent of the Driver CPC Mark began developing and delivering a range of courses for the periodic training elements of the DCPC.
HaulMark Training continues to offer these and other training and compliance services to individuals, owner-operators and local and national companies of all sizes within the transport industry.
